Buttermilk Pancakes

Happy weekend everyone!  I thought I would share the most delicious buttermilk pancake recipe with you!  I mean pancakes this good are pretty much dessert, and I’ve heard dessert for breakfast is a good think right?


Even though it’s probably not the most correct way to make pancakes, I threw all my ingredients in one bowl starting with dry and finishing off with the wet ingredients… as you could probably tell, I was really trying to minimize the amount dishes that followed afterwards.

Below you can find the recipe:

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted

Combine ingredients starting with the dry then to the wet.  Cook in a skillet or flat top on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
